Aloka loves the snow! She has no fear and is already excited to start snowboarding!
And here's a bunch more pictures:
This is our home... We live in the left side (the window is lit up compared to the right side). Richard has built the right side and extended the roof all last summer. believe it or not, this is a trailer! he also built the addition on the left side which will be a mud room. The space we're living in is 500 sq ft, but probably by next spring to summer we'll be able to move in to the new side also, which will increase the total to 1000 sq ft, yay! we'll have two bedrooms, 2 bath, a larger kitchen, living room and dining room. what luxury!
Big sister Aloka Rain and little sister Juniper Willow Rose take on winter in Nelson BC!

Snow play with Avie
Aloka's friend Avie came over with her dad, Tony. They cut down a Christmas tree from our land and then we went for a walk on the decommissioned Burlington Northern railroad tracks behind our house that span for miles and miles.
It was very snowy and we got about a foot of snow over the past few days since then. Aloka has been so excited to be playing in the snow!
And on a side note, she says the funniest things sometimes, it cracks me up. Yesterday morning she was playing, and she took some scotch tape and said, "mama, pretend this was my pet". She paused and I started to crack up, with her following. She's a riot!

some new pics
I get Aloka these 'bath colors' at the co-op, she loves them and they're all natural! After she took her bath she looked at the tub and said "look! There's a cat ring!" (Does anyone remember the Cat In The Hat? :) The whole story is how to dispose of the ring in the tub the cat leaves after a bath. It eventually ends up all over the snow.)
Last night I got an adorable picture of the girls in slumber, their arms entertwined. So sweet!

Bellydancing this summer
This is a blog from someone i don't know... one of the girls in the belly dance troupe found it. I guess people were pretty amazed by my belly! Little did they know, I was only 7 months pregnant in this performance, ha ha!

And, here are some fun pics of our new little person, Juniper Willow Rose Baker!

Oh dear...
I just noticed all the "lyme disease" ads by google, ha! When I have two hands again i'll post about our Halloween, hopefully tonight!
Sick of the tick?
So sorry to leave you staring at a tick fot two months! And for the record, we did get the head out it was determined. Ticks have surprisingly small heads apparently (thanks Josh!)
So I'm only typing with one hand because I'm nursing our new baby, Juniper Bella Rose Baker! She was born on Sept. 8th, at 12:10pm after a 2.5 hour labor. It went so fast I almost can't call it a "labor". I couldn't really get into that laborland groove... it just started and then blammo, here's the baby!
She weighed 8lbs at birth with a pretty big head.
anyway, here are some pics of Aloka before her haircut... Josh took these. Some of you all may have seen them!
